Missing Person: Lourdes Maria Gruart, Female, , Date of Birth: 08/29/2014, Gruart immigrated to the United States from Cuba when she was a child. She graduated from the University of Florida at Tampa with a major in international affairs. Lourdes resided in an apartment in the 400 block of East 83rd Street in Manhattan. She allowed her brother, Mario Gruart, to stay with her and he stated that she left for Europe on October 14, 2000. She left all of her personal belongings behind. Upon investigation, police discovered that her passport expired in 1988 and that traveling to Europe was not possible. Authorites for a time, veiwed her brother as a suspect, but have since stated that they do not believe he was involved with her disappearance. It was discovered that Lourdes may have been involved in prostitution. It was also discovered she was desparate for money as mostof her modeling jobs had dried up.
